West Virginia has many beautiful lakes and Hulls Lake is one of them. A normal amount of rain falls here at Hulls Lake; during July this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Canaan Valley Resort and Conf Ctr; you can go for a hike on the Boundary Trail. Albright Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you can run the rapids of Youghiogheny River.

For the period of the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Hulls Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. Why not camp at Swallow Falls State Park while you're here at Hulls Lake, and Snaggy Mountain is clearly visible from Hulls Lake. A short visit to Hopemont Spring is always worthwhile,
and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Mountaintop Vacationland Dam. Having a perfect time at Hulls Lake is easy. While you're here at Hulls Lake you can play some golf at Oakland Golf Club; Muddy Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby.
Wisp Resort is a fine place to get some rest.
