If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Bluefield-On The Hill, Wv is a magnificent choice, and Winterplace is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Knights Inn. Camping is available at Camp Creek State Forest, and the Walker Mountain Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by.
Why not explore Horton Dam if you're here, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Brush
Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Ada Reservoir Spring is always fun to check out, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bluefield here. Near Horton Lake you locate the Pearis Thompson Horse Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and
needless to say Grassy Branch is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at.
Horton Lake is a good place of common rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bluestone River; camping at Richwood Golf Club is always a pleasant experience.
