Go to Harris Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cheat River; you don't have to go far to enjoy Coopers Rock State Forest. Getting to Glade Run from Harris Lake is uncomplicated; delightful hiking is available along the Mile Trail. It's always good to explore Big Spring, and Coopers Rock State Forest Dam is not far at all from Harris Lake.

Clay Run has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Coopers Rock Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Harris Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Morgantown.

lake is so wonderful. Camping at Pinhill Campground is always a great experience, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Morgantown, Wv is a tremendous choice. Summer at Harris Lake comes with high temperatures in the
80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Harris Lake. A brilliant place to camp here at Harris Lake is Chestnut Ridge Regional Park and Campground;
after a long day outdoors Lakeview Scanticon Golf Resort Spa & Conference Center is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
