There's some interesting stuff to make out at Wheeling Creek Structure Number Seven Dam in the neighborhood of Green Valley Lakes; a journey to Green Valley Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Barger Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Dallas Pike Campground is a great local campground, and Green Valley Lakes is not the only location close by, Pa-647 Reservoir is a close       by lake. Any time is a great time at Green Valley Lakes if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Wheeling-Days Inn is a glorious choice; getting to Gillespie Run from Green Valley Lakes is uncomplicated. At Green Valley Lakes during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in                  the wintertime at Green Valley Lakes temperatures sink to the 10's. You could also stop by Schenk Lake while you're here at Green Valley Lakes; it's nearby, and Four Seasons Camping Resort is a great campground nearby. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Green Valley Lakes; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
