Take a little visit to Arnett Run while you're here at Green Lakes, and at Green Lakes you always meet someone from Fairmont. If you came for an overnight stay Prickett's Creek Campground is a great place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Green Lakes is a good place of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain;       February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Green Lakes get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Green Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Eastern Gas and Fuel Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you get bored of Green Lakes you could also check out close by Dogwood Lakes. There's whitewater on Whiteday Creek for                  all you adrenaline rush seekers, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Fairmont,Wv is a great place to spend a night or two. This spot is great, just explore all the amusing stuff to do near Green Lakes. Conrad Dam is worth going to since you're here, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Meadow Ponds Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
