This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Danas Run if you're here at Forest City Lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Marietta, Oh is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. The amount of precipitation that falls at Forest City Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and January on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Island Marina and Campground       is always a pleasant experience, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is St Marys Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Marietta, and do take a hike on the River Trail. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Landing's Family Campground. At Forest City Lake you always meet someone from Parkersburg-Marietta, and hiking along the Lamping Trail is wonderful fun. Throughout the long summer                  days highs here at Forest City Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's.
