East Lynn Lake, Wayne County, West Virginia     Custom Search User input for East Lynn Lake, Wayne County, West Virginia: Darrell and Sandra Williams - Man, West Virginia: My husband and I are both in our early 40's and have been married three years, starting new after twenty year previous marriages and two little girls of our own after raising five children between us.  Growing up my I was an only child and my family did not take vacations and outdoor activities were laughed about by my parents.  I always dreamed of these family outings all my life.  Not until Darrell came into my life and introduced me to all I have missed, I am now just like our two daughters, enjoying outdoor life as a child does , and it is wonderful!!!  We have camped several places in West Virginia, but when Darrell asks us where we want to camp, we all agree East Lynn is always our first choice.  So, if your family is trying to decide where the best camping place in West Virginia would be, by all means, it is East Lynn!!!  Rose Shepard, Logan , W v: I would just like to say that East Lynn has been a place that I growed up camping and fishing there. We have been camping there every summer since i was a child. And can now enjoy it with my own family. It is a great family oriented place that everyone can enjoy. A lake nearby is Asbury Lake, and getting to Bartram Branch from East Lynn Lake is simple. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the vicinity of East Lynn Lake. Super 8 Motel Huntington, Wv is a fine site to get some rest, and Beech Fork State Park is a great local campground. The high level of rainfall makes East Lynn Lake a relatively wet place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and       October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Ramada Limited Huntington is a brilliant choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mud River. Here at East Lynn Lake there are plenty of folks from Huntington-Ashland. For the period of the warm days of summer at East Lynn Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's; after the sun                  is down during the winter temperatures at East Lynn Lake descend into the 20's. Beech Fork Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Beech Ridge Trail.
