Craig Run flows through this region; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Fairmont,Wv. Tygart Valley River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there's always Lynch Lake Dam to stop by right next door to Dogwood Lake. Dogwood Lake is a good place of common precipitation; most of the rain falls during July, and February on the other hand is the driest. Meadow Ponds Golf Course is a great golf       course nearby, and if you're visiting from Fairmont, you won't be the only one. Camping at Dogwood Lake is great fun, Mount Morris Campground is a great local campground, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Morris Haller Spring. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Dogwood Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you need a place to stay Microtel Morgantown is a good choice, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting                  soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Whiteday Creek. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good region for people who like lakes. Dogwood Lakes is a lake close at hand, and Prickett's Creek Campground is a tremendous campground here. At Dogwood Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
