There's so much to do here at City of Salem Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wilderness waterpark and Camp is a splendid place for that. If you need a location to stay Riverbend Motel is a great choice; hey, Bear Track Run is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Lake Floyd Golf Club; lots of people from Clarksburg come here. City of Salem Reservoir gets a great deal of                  water; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. At City of Salem Reservoir all through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
