Highs all through the winter are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Chippewa Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Chippewa Lake you can take a hike along the Mile Trail, and get your heart beating       on the perfect whitewater of Green's Run. Lakes? Sure, Chippewa Lake is close by, and Hogback Run is near Chippewa Lake and is always a delight to stop by. Camping is available at Pinhill Campground; Chippewa Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Chippewa Lake. A great location to camp here at Chippewa Lake is Albright Campground, and you're sure to encounter some great folks from Morgantown here.                  Dry warm beds await you at Heldreth Motel, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cheat River. Long Hollow is a good location to pop by in the neighborhood of Chippewa Lake; Preston County Inn is a great place to get some rest.
