A trip to Cheat Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Camp Linwood Spring. Lakes? Sure, Monongahela River Pool Eight is nearby. Very glorious water scenery is available at Lake Lynn Dam close to Cheat Lake; get soaked paddling on Cheat River. Cheat Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater       paddling is nice on Clay Run. There's so much to do here at Cheat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pinhill Campground is a brilliant place for that. For the period of the warm months highs here at Cheat Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cheat Lake. A perfect close by hotel is Lakeview Scanticon Golf Resort Spa                  & Conference Center. The good people of Morgantown like to hang out nearby, and let's not forget Grassy Run which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area next to Cheat Lake has to offer. A golf course near Cheat Lake is Paradise Lake Golf Course, and since you're here, you might as well visit Hope Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cheat Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mount Morris Campground; Holiday Inn Express Morgantown, Wv is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
