If you are in Monongalia county it's always a good idea to stop by Cheat Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Morgantown here, and if you came to camp Mount Morris Campground is a pleasant site to do that. During the warmest time of the year at Cheat Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Cheat Lake

Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Clay Run It's always magnificent to stop at Camp Linwood Spring. Just can't get enough of Cheat Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Paradise Lake Golf Course, and camping at Pinhill Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Cheat River close to Cheat Lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along | |

This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Morgantown, Wv is a delightful place to get some rest, and Lake Lynn Dam has nice water scenery. If you're here, you might as well explore Hope Hollow; if you need
a place to stay Lakeview Scanticon Golf Resort Spa & Conference Center is a perfect choice. You could also have a look at Tibbs Run Reservoir if you're here at Cheat Lake; it's close by; why not stop by nearby Grassy Run if you're
here at Cheat Lake.
Cheat Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month.
