Paddling on Little Kanawha River is so much fun, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at Burnsville Lake Dam in the vicinity of Burnsville Lake. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do near Burnsville Lake. Camping at Burnsville Lake is good fun, Hillbilly Haven Log Cabin Rentals is a good local campground. A large amount of rainfall falls at Burnsville Lake; the month of July is the wettest       with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Motel 79, and unsurprisingly Benny Run is a stunning stream that is worth going to. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Burnsville Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Burnsville Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
