High temperatures at Buck Fork Lake during the summer months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Buck Fork Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. While you're here at Buck Fork Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Beckley, and Sandlick Creek is a delightful whitewater spot close by. This       lake is so wonderful. Camping at Twin Falls Resort State Park is always a glorious experience; you can run the rapids of Big Coal River - Marsh Fork. If you haven’t been to Bluestone National Scenic River, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here; the slopes of Winterplace are so inviting nobody can resist. All the water falling down from the sky makes Buck Fork Lake a wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain,                  and October meanwhile is the driest month. Having a delightful time at Buck Fork Lake is trouble-free. This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Stephens Lake is a lake nearby, and the scenery at Buck Fork Dam is delightful.
