    It's always fun to stop by Brandywine Lake. High temperatures at Brandywine Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Brandywine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Thompson's Motel is a good choice, and nearby you stumble on the Miller Run Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. If you come  
   at the right time of year, Potomac River - South Branch offers some delightful whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Brandywine Motel & Trailer Crt.
You might want to pay a visit to Dry River Hollow since you're here at Brandywine Lake, and going for a hike on the Bother Ridge Trail is always a wonderful adventure. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Brandywine Lake. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Potomac River
 
               - South Fork of the South Branch, and the Road Run Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. At Brandywine Lake you can observe Cowger Mountain; Brandywine Lake is a great place to camp, Cave Country Camping Area is a great place.
Bandywine Lake Campground is a brilliant campground here. A normal amount of rain falls here at Brandywine Lake; July is when you get the most rain here while January is ordinarily the driest month.
