This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site for whitewater paddling near Bowden Ponds is Little Beaver Creek, and do take a hike on the Fishermans Trail. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Bowden Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Highland Springs Golf Course, and let's not forget Alexanders Run which is a stream that you       may run into while here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Weirton, Wv; if you came to camp Bellview Campground is a perfect place to do that. Number Two Hollow is near Bowden Ponds and is absolutely a wonderful site to take a look at, and you acquire a splendid vista of Mechling Hill from here. Not far from Bowden Ponds, you'll come across Hughes Lake which is a delightful lake, and you can run the rapids                  of Little Beaver Creek. You're sure to stumble upon some nice folks from Weirton-Steubenville here, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Gretchens Lock Trail. Bowden Ponds gets a common amount of precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Weirton is a tremendous choice. There's so much to do here at Bowden Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Back Country Campgrounds is a tremendous spot for that. Lakes are great; Cardinal Fly Ash Retention Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Bowden Ponds, and you don’t have to go far from Bowden Ponds to make out the water at Memorial Lake Dam. The warmest time of the year at Bowden Ponds arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
