There's so much to do here at Bluewell Dam Number One that you need to camp here for a while, Richwood Golf Club is a fine place for that, and Hatcher Hollow is a glorious spot to explore. So much fun stuff to do here at Bluewell Dam Number One, too tremendous to be true. Bluewell Water Supply Dam Number Two is a striking spot right next door to Bluewell Dam Number One,       and float down the rapids of Camp Creek in a kayak. Bluewell Dam Number One gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month of the year is February. Lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Bluewell Dam Number Two close to Bluewell Dam Number One, and get wet paddling on Bluestone River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Dear Trail Park Campground is a fine site to do that; after a long day outdoors Econo                  Lodge Bluefield is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. For you golfers we recommend nearby Richwood Golf Club & Campgrounds; if you're going to from Bluefield, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Winterplace close at hand. The warmest time of the year at Bluewell Dam Number One comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bluewell Dam Number One are in the 10's.
