High temperatures at Bluestone Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and during       the dark hours in the wintertime at Bluestone Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Bluestone Lake is Bass Lake Park, and nearby Fourmile Hollow is a glorious location to go. While you're here at Bluestone Lake you can play some golf at Willow Wood Country Club, and Bass Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Winterplace;                  if you need a place to stay The Resort at Glade Springs is a good choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Bluestone Lake. Get soaked paddling on New River; if you get bored of Bluestone Lake you could also check out nearby Long Branch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An exciting thing to go to near Bluestone Lake is Bluestone Dam.
