Birch Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Birch Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Birch River, and you can stay the night at Flatwoods KOA. The warmest time of the year at Birch Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Birch River, and Sutton - Days Inn Flatwoods is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
