Fike Run is a splendid whitewater spot in close proximity to Appalachian Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Appalachian Lake; Mile Trail is a pleasant local trail. Much rainfall falls at Appalachian Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Circle H Outfitters. There's so much to do here at Appalachian Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Tall Oaks Campground is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. A great sight of delightful Sickle Hill is available from Appalachian Lake; magnificent hiking is available along the Great Gorge Trail.
