Ada Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Brush Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and there are delightful sites to discover along the Pearis Thompson Horse Trail. Don't leave Ada Lake without first going for a hike along the Hoof and Hill Trail, and Dear Trail Park Campground is a magnificent campground here. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Ada Lake is great!.

Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Ada Lake through the wintertime mostly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Walker Mountain Trail is always a tremendous adventure, needless to say you could also go to Horton Lake since you're here; it's
not far at all. Why not have a look at nearby Grassy Branch if you're here at Ada Lake; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bluestone River. This lake is so wonderful. At Ada Lake you always
meet someone from Bluefield It's always delightful to go to Ada Reservoir Spring.
Winterplace is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and if you came for an overnight stay Richwood Golf Club is a splendid site to camp.
