Not far from Zielke Lake, you'll discover Gordon Lake which is a beautiful lake, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Chippewa River - East Fork. At Zielke Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter       at Zielke Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Zielke Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a good local campground; why not go to close by Hinder Creek if you're here at Zielke Lake. So many enjoyable things to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time. There are other places here than Zielke Lake, for example Torrey Lake, and a good close by hotel is Americinn - Ashland, Wi. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent                  spot to camp here at Zielke Lake is Butternut Lake Campground; you can run the rapids of Bad River. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Gogebic Range. Zielke Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Zielke Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a great choice.
