No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Zalensky Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Zalensky Pond; Markville Snowmobile Trail is a delightful local trail, and why not camp at Paint Rock Spring Campground if you're here at Zalensky Pond. Lodge at Crooked Lake is a perfect place to get some rest, and Dike 1 Flowage is a tremendous lake close by. From a rain       point of view Zalensky Pond is a rather typical place; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is February. You can run the rapids of St. Croix River in the vicinity of Zalensky Pond. Lakes? Sure, Monson Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Kettle River is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Zalensky Pond, and swamps like Currey Flowage are fun to stop by. Zalensky Pond is in close proximity to Crex                  Meadows Dam which is a pretty spot beyond doubt worth a visit, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a glorious choice. Through the summertime months at Zalensky Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Zalensky Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail.
