There's so much to do here at Young Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Grove Resort is a wonderful place for that, and the skiing at Trollhaugen is good. The scenery at Bohn Dam close to Young Lake is charming; don't leave Young Lake without first going for a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. For the duration of the summertime, highs generally are in       the 80's at Young Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Young Lake tend to be in the-10's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Young Lake has to offer, you can camp at Birchwood Beach Campgrounds, and don't miss out on a visit to Saint Croix National Scenic River if you're here.
