In Wisconsin there are many beautiful lakes, Woodtick Lake is one of them. Woodtick Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. Be careful coming to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Ashland Super 8 Motel, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Lake Campground is a great spot to camp. Camping is available at Day Lake Campground, and nearby you find the Black Lake Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.

is right next door to Woodtick Lake; going for a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
That right there is loads of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Gogebic Range has it
all. Marengo River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Woodtick Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Woodtick Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the winter
highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Woodtick Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Brunsweiler River in the neighborhood of Woodtick Lake, and let's not forget Dingdong Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here.
