Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Ditmans Lake near Wolf Lake; Tyler Forks is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Summer at Wolf Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Wolf Lake gets a normal amount of rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wolf Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Whitecap Mountain.
