All through the summer at Wolf Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Wolf Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Be careful coming to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wolf Lake; Great Divide       Snowmobile Trail is a perfect local trail, and why not head up to Whitecap Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. From a rain point of view Wolf Lake is a reasonably common place; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Do visit Ditmans Lake in the vicinity of Wolf Lake, it's a pretty lake, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Tyler Forks. There's whitewater on Chippewa                  River - East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and camping at Butternut Lake Campground is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a good site to get some rest; if you came to camp Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a magnificent spot to do that. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
