Beaverdam Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a glorious choice. Wintergreen Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wintergreen Lake; Newman Springs Ski       Trail is a nice local trail, and Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a good campground nearby. For the duration of the long summer days at Wintergreen Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Wintergreen Lake dip into the 0's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good                  time. Gotta ski! Whitecap Mountain is a great spot to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Park Falls. There's whitewater on Flambeau River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a pleasant location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - South Fork. Lakes are tremendous; Iodine Lake is a lake that's close to Wintergreen Lake.
