Stay the night at Country View Campground; La Quinta Inn & Suites Milwaukee SW/New Berlin is a great place to get some rest. Near Wind Lake you find a golf course called Muskego Lakes Country Club, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Honey Creek. High temperatures at Wind Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's. When the       night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Wind Lake dip into the 10's. The annual rainfall here at Wind Lake is about average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Gotta ski! Alpine Valley is a pleasant location to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting                  mood you can always visit close by Wind Lake 35. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Waubeesee Lake is close at hand; at Wind Lake you always meet someone from Racine. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wind Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a great location for that; a magnificent nearby hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Waterford.
