Having a good time at Wilson Lake is easy. Boulder Lodge Resort is a fine campground nearby, and swing by Wilson Creek it's a good place to explore. During the days of summer here at Wilson Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Wilson Lake       are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Chippewa River - West Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and nearby you discover the North Country Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Spring Lake is in the vicinity; going for a hike on the Virgin Pine Trail is always a good adventure. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hayward is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is good on Marengo River. This lake is so wonderful.                  A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Wilson Lake; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a good local campground, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail.
