This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Star Lake, and get wet paddling on Chippewa River - West Fork. A typical amount of rain falls here at Wilson Lake; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Wilson Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and through       the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Wilson Lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Wilson Lake. The North Country Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Wilson Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hayward is a good place to spend a night or two, and Lakewoods                  Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is a fine golf course close by. If the weather is pleasant here at Wilson Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, obviously you could also visit Spring Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
