From a rainfall point of view Whiplash Lake is a relatively normal place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. At Whiplash Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in       the-10's overnight here at Whiplash Lake. Duncan Creek is a good whitewater spot near Whiplash Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Chetek. This lake is so wonderful. Whiplash Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lured In Lodge & Campground is a nice local campground, and going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Lake Two is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Whiplash Lake is right                  by the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whiplash Lake is a place with many visitors from Eau Claire. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Whiplash Lake. The slopes of Christie Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and do stop at Lake One, it's a stunning lake.
