This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range. Hiking along the North Country Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Black Lake Campground while you're here at West Twin Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. Throughout       the summertime highs here at West Twin Lake reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for West Twin Lake tend to be in the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday House, and Marengo River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. This place rules, just explore all the exciting stuff to do next to West Twin Lake. Take a hike on the Black Lake                  Trail, and do explore Woodtick Lake, it's a delightful lake. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Gogebic Range has it all. A glorious site to camp here at West Twin Lake is Day Lake Campground, and a pretty lake like East Twin Lake is a magnificent site to stop by. After a long day outdoors Ashland Super 8 Motel is a nice location to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brunsweiler River.
