Man, is there lots of exciting things to do close to West Silver Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Dickey Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Robinson Creek. While staying at West Silver Lake you could always discover Lower Pass, and if you've had enough of West Silver Lake, Sandy Lake is close by. At West Silver Lake during the long summer days highs are in the       80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to West Silver Lake. Best Western Sparta Trail Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest; an afternoon playing golf at Sparta Municipal Golf Course is always a diversion. A common amount of rain falls here at West Silver Lake; through the month of September you get                  the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Quarry Hill is easily observed from West Silver Lake; West Silver Lake is a splendid place to camp, Leon Valley Campground is a splendid place.
