What a nice lake West Lake is. West Lake is not far at all from Iron Mountain; paddling on Brule River is so much fun. Soar down the rapids of Pine River in a kayak. There's just no way someone can get bored here at West Lake. Visit First Creek if you're here at West Lake, and after a long day outdoors Pine Mountain Hotel & Resort is a nice location to spend a night or two.

At West Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to West Lake.
