Summer at Washwood Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Washwood Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Three Bears Lodge and Villas is a great location to get some rest, and Mc Mullen Park is a magnificent campground here.       Black River - East Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can stay the night at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp. Washwood Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; throughout July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.
