Going for a hike along the Lauterman Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; there are other places here than Wapoose Lake, for example Little Wapoose Lake. You'll wish for more hours       in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Wapoose Lake. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brule River, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a delightful choice. From a rain point of view Wapoose Lake is a rather normal place; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Brule Mountain in the neighborhood,                  and Stevens Lake is a great lake nearby. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Brule, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good place to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Wapoose Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Wapoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
