Waller Lakes is a tremendous site to camp, Goose Island Campgrounds is a tremendous site, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Commodore Lake. Genoa Fish Hatchery Pond One Dam is worth a visit if you're here; Red Barn Resort and Campground is a glorious campground here. Dry warm beds await you at Scenic Valley Motel; there are pleasant sites to discover along the Yellow River State Forest Trail. This place, Waller Lakes,       it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Thief Slough is an interesting swamp close to Waller Lakes; Italian Hollow is close at hand, and is a delightful site. This lake is so wonderful. Bad Axe River is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at; good skiing awaits you at Mount La Crosse. After a long day outdoors Thornton House is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and a spree to Heck Point is always a good idea. All through the warmest                  time of the year at Waller Lakes temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Waller Lakes tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from La Crosse, and the views at Effigy Mounds National Monument will blow your mind.
