You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Wagner Lake has to offer. Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent location to get some rest, and since you're here you can play some golf at Clintonville Riverside Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Cobblestone Inn and Suites, and if you come at the right time of year, Embarrass River       offers some great whitewater. All through the summertime months at Wagner Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Wagner Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Wagner Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is January. Drift down the rapids                  of Red River in a kayak; why not take a little spree to Matteson Creek if you're here.
