Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain since       you're here. During the summer at Virgin Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Virgin Lake.
