High temperatures at Villard Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Villard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hardwood Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. A normal amount of precipitation       falls here at Villard Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do near Villard Lake. South Lakes is a glorious lake near Villard Lake, and why not head up to Christie Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River offers some wonderful whitewater, and hiking along the Serley Camp Trail is delightful fun. Lakes                  are such serene places, why not explore Miller Lake near Villard Lake, and do take a hike on the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. Villard Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Blueberry Campground is a good local campground; a great nearby hotel is Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Villard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Windfall Lake Camping is a magnificent location for that; a quick spree to Brunet River is unquestionably a good idea.
