Camping is available at Burnt Bridge Campground; going for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail is always a magnificent adventure. The amount of rain that falls at Valley Lake is close to the national average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Lepak Cottage & Lake Home is a perfect spot to get some rest, and a great place for whitewater paddling       is Peshtigo River. A quick visit to Halley Creek right next door to Valley Lake is a good idea. Summertime highs at Valley Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's; the night is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Valley Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's.
