Paddling on Wisconsin River is so much fun; if you need a location to stay Holiday Acres Resort is a great choice. At Upper First Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Upper First Lake tend to be in the 0's. Not far       from Upper First Lake, you'll come across Lower First Lake which is a wonderful lake, and Days Inn of Antigo is a nice spot to get some rest. From a rain point of view Upper First Lake is a pretty typical place; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Wolf River in a kayak, and if you came for an overnight stay Weaver's Resort & Campground                  is a nice place to camp.
