And that's not everything there is to do here in the Gogebic Range. After a long day outdoors North Haven Country Cottage is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Upper Clam Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Upper Clam Lake. If only every site       had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. While you're here at Upper Clam Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and Day Dam is a wonderful spot. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Brunsweiler River. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River, and if you came for an overnight                  stay Chippewa River Campground is a nice place to camp. Upper Clam Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. A common amount of rain falls here at Upper Clam Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Beaver Lake; going for a hike along the Black Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. So much enjoyable stuff in the Gogebic Range, just fantastic.
