Camping is available at Day Lake Campground, and hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is nice fun. Dry warm beds await you at Ashland Super 8 Motel, and since you're here, you could also check out stunning Beaver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Chippewa River Campground if you're here at Upper Clam Lake, and do take a hike on the Black Lake Trail. You just       can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Gogebic Range has to offer. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Brunsweiler River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Upper Clam Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Upper Clam Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Upper                  Clam Lake. There's whitewater on Marengo River for all you thrill seekers; do have a look at Pole Lake, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. A common amount of rain falls here at Upper Clam Lake; most of the rain falls through August; the driest of the months is February. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is so good!
