Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Twin Lakes is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Twin Lakes is not the only spot close by, Cranberry Lake is a close by lake, and going for a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Holiday House. Hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is good fun; whitewater paddling is fine on Chippewa River

At Twin Lakes all through the warm months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the North Country | |

Trail. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Twin Lakes; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Twin
Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Boulder Lodge Resort, and get wet paddling on Marengo River. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Twin Lakes you get some nice water scenery at Namekgon WP320 Dam, and a golf course nearby is Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course.
