This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Saint Croix National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Turtle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Apple River Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - New Richmond, Wi. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Turtle Lake. A round of golf at nearby Bristol Ridge Golf Course       is a magnificent way to kill some time. There's so much to do here at Turtle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Somerset Camp and Tubing is a great site for that. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River, and Turtle Lake is not the only site close by, Riverdale Flowage 541 is a close by lake. Throughout the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Turtle Lake; the nighttime is somewhat                  chillier of course, generally in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Turtle Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Riverdale Dam is a striking spot in the vicinity of Turtle Lake, and a lake close by is Riverdale Flowage. The skiing at Trollhaugen is wonderful, and Apple River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. From a precipitation point of view Turtle Lake is a rather typical place; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest.
