Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River, and you can hit the slopes at Trollhaugen close at hand. If time allows, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wild Mountain. If you need a location to stay Americinn - New Richmond, Wi is a wonderful choice, and a round of golf at nearby Bristol       Ridge Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Apple River, and if you've had enough of Turtle Lake, North Bass Lake is close by. Why not camp at Apple River Campground if you're here at Turtle Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Somerset Camp and Tubing is a nice place to camp. Turtle Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and                  February meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the vicinity of Turtle Lake has to offer. Super 8 Motel - New Richmond is a glorious site to get some rest; an interesting thing to explore in close proximity to Turtle Lake is Riverdale Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Turtle Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
