This lake is so wonderful. Turtle Lake is not far at all from Stevens Point; if you need a location to stay Point Motel is a great choice. Turtle Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Summer at Turtle Lake comes with high temperatures       in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Turtle Lake. Camping is available at Brookside Village, and do pop by Fox Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Turtle Lake has to offer. Get wet paddling on Eau Claire River.
