What a nice lake Trow Lake is. Nearby lakes? Sure, Oakwood Lake is near Trow Lake; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Black River Falls, Wisconsin. This lake is so wonderful. Trow Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Arbutus Campground East and West is a nice local campground, and why not take a little journey to East Fork Halls Creek while you're here. Camping at Bunkhouse Retreat Atv Park is always a glorious experience,

| | and if you come at the right time of year, Halls Creek offers some glorious whitewater.
Here at Trow Lake you can see Small Mound, and there's great hiking along the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Trow Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black River, and Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites is a fine location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.

Summertime highs at Trow Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Trow Lake are in the-10's. Trow Lake gets a common
amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You can take a little trip to Merillan Mills Dam while you're here at Trow Lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Silver Mound Trail.
