A visit to Trow Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites, and Trow Lake is right by the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Trow Lake; during September this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
Whitewater paddling is good on Black River; Trow Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Russell Park

| | Campground is a glorious local campground. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Trow Lake. You could also visit Oakwood Lake while you're here at Trow Lake; it's close by, and East Fork Halls Creek is close to Trow Lake and is always a pleasure to go to. There's so much to do here at Trow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Arbutus Campground East and West is a fine location for that; here at Trow Lake you can catch a sight of Small Mound.

the summertime months highs here at Trow Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's while Trow Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. This
lake is so wonderful. Black River Falls Days Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Halls Creek. Merillan Mills Dam is a place that is right next door to Trow Lake, and the Silver Mound Trail offers hiking at its best.
