The yearly precipitation here at Trout Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the summertime months at Trout Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's,       and night lows in the-10's for Trout Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Chippewa River - West Fork for all you thrill seekers, and a splendid place to camp here at Trout Lake is Chippewa River Campground. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hayward is a glorious location to spend a night or two. You could also stop at Foo Lake if you're here at Trout Lake; it's nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail.                  Just can't get enough of Trout Lake. Camping at Boulder Lodge Resort is always a great experience; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club is in the vicinity.
