Summertime highs at Trout Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Trout Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Trout Lake, you could stop by Bear Creek, and you can stay the night at Butternut       Lake Campground. Whitecap Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff; get dripping wet paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork. Float down the rapids of Tyler Forks in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Trout Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest. Trout Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest                  month.
