Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a fine campground nearby; an afternoon playing golf at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is always a joy. Summer at Trail Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and       through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Trail Lake. The yearly rain here at Trail Lake is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Trail Lake; Virgin Pine Trail is a great local trail, and Trail Lake is a tremendous                  spot to visit for more than one day, Boulder Lodge Resort is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the North Country Trail, and you're possibly interested in lakes, Hildebrand Lake is one of those nearby. Don't leave Trail Lake without first going for a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and obviously, this is a nice vicinity for folks who like lakes, McClaine Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
