It's always fun to stop by Torrey Lake. If you need a place to stay Americinn - Ashland, Wi is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Torrey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Day Lake Campground is a pleasant spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Gordon Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; whitewater paddling is great on Chippewa River - East Fork. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. You'll need

From a precipitation point of view Torrey Lake is a rather normal site; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months
is February. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Gogebic Range. Get wet paddling on Bad River, and there's some flowing water close by, Hinder Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here.
