If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Upper Tamarack River, and Fox Run Golf Course is a perfect golf course nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tomoe Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's while       Tomoe Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a tremendous choice; there are other places here than Tomoe Lake, for example Lily Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Tomoe Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.                  Stay the night at Devils Lake Park Resort, and do take a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail.
